PERFORMANCE INTENSIVE FOR EMERGING ARTISTS

The Festival provides seven days of concerts at some of the most beautiful, intimate, and storied venues along the Gold Coast of Long Island, including Cedarmere, the Estate of William Cullen Bryant, Old Westbury Gardens, historic St. John’s Episcopal Church in Cold Spring Harbor, Raynham Hall Museum, Christ Church of Oyster Bay, the Wooden Boat Shop at the Western Waterfront, and many others.  Designed for highly gifted and prize winning musicians ages 16-30, Performance Intensive artists, together with festival faculty and guest artists, present solo and chamber music repertoire on creatively curated classical music concerts.

Rehearsals take place at First Presbyterian Church at 60 East Main Street in Oyster Bay, New York. In addition to our daily evening concerts, informal afternoon performances, lectures and masterclasses open to the public take place throughout downtown Oyster Bay and within walking distance from the First Presbyterian campus. Housing will be provided for out of town performers.

Oyster Bay Music Festival's mission is to present awe-inspiring classical music performances, which showcase the next generation's star musicians in both beautiful and unique venues, creating an intimate and immersive experience for our community to share. The Festival creates spaces where artists and audiences can come together, united by the transformative power of music.
